This design was inspired by the beauty of suspended bridges. The use of white enamel as the suspended part is a pleasant contrast to the oak and visually balances out the piece.
Fully utilizing available storage space, two side drawers were created, one for trays and one for table linens.
Using the extra leaf concept that’s used frequently in dining room tables, here it allows for added surface area as well as extra space for a high stool on both sides.
Without using any metal hardware, the buffet top and leaf slide smoothly into each other on the wooden tracks.
